Mickie was survived by many of her dear friends. She had been a member of the Maplewood Women's Club, Maplewood Senior Citizens and the 2nd Reformed Church of Irvington. She was retired from American Can Company of Newark, where she had been a secretary for 34 years. Her funeral was private.
